Lux Vita Media Group is a multimedia news organization producing investigative and analytical content educating the public about national and international affairs. Our goal is to inform the American people of the dangers and opportunities facing the nation, recording our deeds, and encouraging reflection and intellectual discussion, and robust debate. Our mission is to build systems and communities of like-minded individuals, who stand by our core values of truth, hope, and unity.
We believe dissent should not be silenced, but encouraged. Controversy should not be avoided, but embraced. In this way, we find ourselves walking in the large footsteps left behind by the journalists who paved the way for us, and we honor those who have given their lives to the pursuit of truth. Yet we also recognize the dangers and peril the nation faces today and know our current news media to be insufficiently capable at handling the tasks and challenges before us.
Therefore, we aim not only to increase the quality of the news being relayed, but the quality of transmission. Offering a uniquely cinematic value to our video content, we know that the medium is just as important as the message, and embrace both long and short form content, utilizing each platform to play into each of their unique strengths and weaknesses. Lux Vita Media Group aims to influence the online sector by offering an alternative to both traditional news media and the often radicalized alternative media sources. We will always return to our core values, beginning with truth- but never leaving behind our desires for hope and unity.

Meet Tyler Skillings, CEO
Tyler Skillings became fascinated with the art of cinema at a young age. Getting his start in wedding videography at just 14, he learned to capture emotional moments on the fly and craft thoughtful stories in the editing bay.
Early in his professional career, Tyler found momentum as a cinematographer. He was recognized by the ASC for his cinematography on a short film titled “Caesura” and awarded by several film festivals for his work on the feature film “Wrapped” distributed by Prime Video, as well as shooting nearly 50 narrative short films before graduating from Biola University with a degree in Film Production.
As a lifelong writer, Tyler’s transition into directing seemed inevitable. And with his experience in marketing, he was quickly running his own grassroots campaigns for clients like NFL star Thomas Williams and demonstrating incredible gains in engagement and growth.
In the fall of 2020, he partnered with Vesync LTD. as Creative Director and began directing the companies first ever national advertisements for brands like Cosori and Levoit, helping them grow to be the #1 selling Air Fryer and #1 Air Purifier brand in the country, respectively.
Ready to make an impact, Tyler approaches video journalism with an eye for cinematic visuals and a passion to tell engaging stories that have a demonstrable effect on the world around him. Serving as chief creative and CEO, he uses an understanding of viral content and marketing strategy, combining his technical and creative knowledge to be a powerful force for change.
Meet Robert “RJ” Skillings, COO
RJ Skillings is an accomplished businessman with extensive experience in the fast paced world of supply chain management and an established record of public service. After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona he quickly moved into Supervising Operations for the world’s leading contract logistics provider, DHL Supply Chain. However, seeing a great need during the Covid-19 epidemic, RJ pivoted to Logistics Maintenance to assist in the roll out of the vaccine.
Following this RJ moved further into public service with the City of San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and acted as Union representative to the City Council for the Ocean Lifeguard department. It was this rapid engagement with local politics that inspired RJ to pursue a career in investigative journalism, learning firsthand the impact of informed citizenry and how misinformation and poor trust in media can degrade the governing process at all levels.
Setting out to expand his impact from the local to the national level, he uses his experience and contacts in the political space to deftly navigate public relations and perform excellent political and economic strategy.
